Ashley Clark worked with hundreds of addicts at one of Dr. Kishore’s clinics near Boston, but the heroin epidemic became painfully real to her and her family when she lost her older brother to an overdose. In her film interview, Ashley shares how she came to see how widespread the epidemic was in her own Weymouth neighborhood, as many of the kids from her high school came through the doors of the clinic, struggling with addiction, and has been to too many of her friends’ funerals.
